A heartfelt thanks from all of us to all of you for helping to keep WMSE free and weird. The Spring Membership Drive was a success, raising over $90,000 over the course of 10 days. We heard so many great comments and stories from people who have been listening since day one in 1981 to a couple that donated only one day after discovering Frontier Radio, people who have been long time contributers and a number of friends who became first-time members. In 10 days we were able to not only maintain this wonderful music community, but were able to grow the family.

Every Tuesday at 8PM since February of 2005, WMSE has welcomed a different Milwaukee-area artist into the studios to perform a full set live on the airwaves, made possible by our amazing sound engineer Billy Cicerelli. DJs Radio Dave and Bob Midnight take turns hosting Local/Live which includes an interview with the performing artist and also features recorded music from other local artists .
Local/Live: May 15 - Studio Renovation
We're excited to announce live broadcast and recording studio renovation has begun. Billy worked really hard to make sure he researched the heck out of the best options given the budget you helped us create by contributing to the Keep Live Music on WMSE campaign. Now, all the parts and gear have arrived and the work is in progress.
Thanks again for supporting the campaign. We can't wait to start utilizing the new studio.
