WMSE’s members, volunteers, and community partners make the great programming you love possible. Thank you to our community, which powers this little radio station to have an amazing impact on Milwaukee’s cultural landscape. Since 1981, WMSE has been free-form and independent. We are very grateful for the last 44 years, so let’s celebrate!

2025 WMSE Celebration Week Events

Monday, Sept. 15 – WMSE Member Happy Hour – Come to Indeed Brewing and let us buy you a beer or other beverage for being a Proud Supporter of the Mighty 91 during a Happy Hour just for WMSE’s Members!

Wednesday, Sept. 17 – 917 WMSE Day – Studio Open house and DJ Spin @ Wiggle Room

Check out the WMSE Studios Open House (820 N. Milwaukee St.) between 11 AM and 3 PM. There will be coffee, snacks, deals on WMSE merch, and you can record a video testimonial for WMSE!

WMSE DJs take over the Wiggle Room from 4 p.m. to midnight!  The event is free and open to the public. It will be a night to remember, or at least try to remember. See you there!
