Friday Night Freak Show – Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

It’s the WMSE Friday Night Freak Show at the Oriental Theatre on Friday, Nov. 21, and we’re featuring Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, a British 1998 neo-noir black comedy crime film written and directed by Guy Ritchie. A card shark and his unwillingly-enlisted friends need to make a lot of cash quick after losing a sketchy poker match. To do this they decide to pull a heist on a small-time gang who happen to be operating out of the flat next door.
The evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a live DJ set featuring Pat from Happy Mondays, spinning the deep cuts to set the mood. Then, at 7:30, the screen lights up with Lock Stock!
It’s all happening at the iconic Oriental Theatre, in collaboration with MKE Film and 3 Sheeps Brewing. Grab your tickets now.
