Friday Night Freak Show – Return of the Living Dead

The October 18^th WMSE Friday Night Freak Show will feature The Return of the Living Dead a 1985 American comedy horror film written and directed by Dan O’Bannon. The film tells the story of how a warehouse owner, accompanied by his two employees, mortician friend and a group of teenage punks, deal with the accidental release of a horde of unkillable, brain-hungry zombies onto an unsuspecting town.There will be a costume contest put on by Alive and Fine with cash prizes. You can register at Alive and Fine (2652 S Kinnickinnic Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207) leading up to the FNFS in the categories spooky, nonspooky and group costume.The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a DJ set by Von Munz from the Von Munz Variety Show, followed by the film screening at 7:30 p.m.The Friday Night Freak Show is sponsored by 3 Sheeps Brewing Company and Milwaukee Film.
