Local/Live In-Studio with El Sebas
Tune in for another in-studio edition of Local/Live with El Sebas hosted by Poundcake Punk DJ Maggie and Music Director Sid. El Sebas is Mexican rapper, artist, and cultural organizer whose music is influenced by his culture and experiences. He forms half of urban Latin Hip Hop duo ‘Browns Crew’ alongside fellow rapper, Cristo Paz. His creative process encompasses writing through a journalistic lens that affirms his own realities and those of his community members. El Sebas’ music draws attention to prevalent issues, as well as aims to spread joy through his creative sound. He raps in English and Spanish, incorporates clever wordplay and thought provoking content, and infuses Latin sounds into his performances and recordings.
