These rules apply to all contests conducted by WMSE unless otherwise set forth in specific contest rules for a particular contest.

WMSE employees, former employees, interns, and board members, and their families, as well as employees and their families of other broadcast media and advertising agencies, are not eligible to enter WMSE contests.

No purchase is necessary. 

Limit one entry per person, household address, or e-mail address. Multiple entries will be discarded. Only one winner per household or immediate family per 30-day period is permitted.

Participating in a WMSE contest and/or accepting a prize constitutes permission to use the participant’s and winner’s name and/or likenesses for promotional, broadcast, internet, advertising, or trade purposes without further compensation.

Prize winners must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States of America unless otherwise specified.

WMSE will notify all winners through email primarily.

Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, duties, or other costs that may be associated with the winning of a prize.

All decisions of station management with regard to the awarding of prizes, the selection of winners, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Each entrant, by entering the contest, agrees to accept the station’s decision as final.

The winner agrees to accept the prize “as-is.” A winner cannot exchange a prize for cash or another prize of equal, greater, or lesser value. WMSE  reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar value.

Prize acceptance is time-sensitive. WMSE reserves the right at any time to award prizes to another eligible winner drawn at random in the event that prizes, for any reason, or in the event that the original winner does not meet eligibility requirements. If a winner fails to accept a prize for any reason, no make-good prize will be awarded, nor will there be replacements for the forfeited prize. Any prize not claimed before the deadline will be forfeited by the winner and will remain the sole property.

Winners accept responsibility for all taxes, tips, and other liabilities. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. 

WMSE is not responsible for the safe arrival or delivery of prizes. WMSE is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or delayed prizes or notices.

By entering, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless WMSE including all officers, directors, employees, and sponsors from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injury resulting in participation in WMSE promotions.

WMSE reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time
