Join Music Director Sid and Poundcake Punk DJ Maggie for another Local/Live with Sleepersound. Likened to Mono, Godspeed You Black Emperor, and Radiohead, Sleepersound’s recent release My Own Dead Love is the absolute loveliest miserable experience you’ll ever have. It’s the Milwaukee band’s third full-length album of vivid and picturesque post-rock, following up the praised In Medias Rias and Idle Voices, which were highly recommended by All Songs Considered, Outburn Magazine, and The Big Takeover, among many more of you.
Produced by Sleepersound and recorded and mixed by drummer and recording engineer Dan Niedziejko’s home studio, Indian not The Arrow and expertly mastered by Niedziejko’s former neighbor and Grammy winner, Trevor Sadler.
