LOCAL/LIVE – 7/14/26 – SNAG
POSTED:: July 6, 2026
FILED UNDER:: In-Studio Performances, Local/Live

Join Music Director Sid and Milwaukee Record’s Matt Wild for another Local/Live with SNAG.
All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn To Dust, Snag’s third LP, is their most cohesive, thoughtful, and accessible to date. From the moment of being placed under arrest as the album commences (Unarrest Me), to the ways we are trapped by our economic order (Sunburn), consumerism (Shelf Life), imperial projects and their resulting wars (Pray for Peace), international borders (Foam Cup, Pt. 3), and even our bodies and minds (Debilitated, Cages), Snag insist that the cages are everywhere you look. Just as important, though, is their insistence that all this can change, that together we can be free and turn all these cages to dust. Snag will be playing two record release shows on Saturday 7/18 at Cactus Club at 6pm and 9pm
“Snag, DIY screamo warriors from Milwaukee, sound like the world collapsing all around you. Their music feels that way, too. It’s all about the anxiety of living in the end times, expressed with vivid and visceral immediacy. After scrambling around in the underground for many years, Snag have hooked up with the Converge-affiliated label Deathwish, Inc. That basically means that they’ve hit the bigtime, at least as far as this kind of music goes. This summer, they’ll release a new album with the evocative title All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn To Dust.” – Stereogum
Local/Live is engineered by Nicholas Evert
Local/Live is presented by Outpost Co-op, “We believe good food brings us together,” and Cedar Teeth.
Tune into WMSE, 91.7FM or stream at WMSE.ORG at 6 p.m. for a liver interview and performance with SNAG.
