Guerrilla Ghost is the brainchild of two like-minded individuals, Defatte and Jones, who bonded over their love of hip-hop after meeting through a mutual friend. This project isn’t simply a melding of genres; it’s hip hop filtered through the anger and aggression of punk and metal, resulting in a propulsive and forceful sound that demands the listener’s attention. Both members come from similar backgrounds, having created noisy and aggressive sounds in their prior heavy bands. Despite their relatively short tenure, Guerrilla Ghost has amassed a catalog that rivals their contemporaries. Keep your eyes and ears open; Guerrilla Ghost is always lurking about.
