Join Music Director Sid and Milwaukee Records Matt Wild for another Local/Live with Ben Mulwana.
Ben Mulwana is a Ugandan-born and raised artist residing in Wisconsin. With thought-provoking lyrics and a diverse range of musical inspiration, Mulwana’s music has been described as Afro-soul rock that takes on a unique storytelling quality. The full band brings a dynamic and high-energy quality that builds on the soulful presence of his solo performances. The full band set has been described as energetic and dynamic while bringing a groovy, magnetic presence that immediately captures the attention of his audience.
Ben’s album ‘Mr. Mulwana’: The album “Mr. Mulwana” is about growth, in music, mind and soul. “I built the studio I recorded in from scratch with the goal of recording all the songs in it. I thought of giving up several times, and several times I got back up and kept going. This album is the musical representation of this process, all the ups and downs, the struggle and the joy of it all.” For his February 2026 ’Soul Case’ tour, Ben Mulwana is performing as a 4 piece (guitar/percussion/piano/cello) – think intimate singer-songwriter/storytelling with new songs and re-imagined classic Ben songs.
