Join Music Director Sid and Milwaukee Record’s Matt Wild for another session of Local/Live from Anodyne with Devils Teeth!
Milwaukee surf-rockers Devils Teeth has steadily built a reputation across the midwest as a fun and energetic live act since they formed back in 2016. Combining reverb-soaked surf guitar, a thunderous post-punk rhythm section, and melodic/rhythmic saxophone that ties the sound together as a catchy, dirty, fun, garage rock amalgamation.
In 2021, they released their acclaimed sophomore album, La leggenda di Chong Li. Now, they’re back with their third full-length, The Key of Dickie G, featuring singles “Wolfin’ Out” and “Getting Down, Getting Dirty.”
The Key of Dickie G was recorded in July 2022 by Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Dirtbombs, Sonics, Reigning Sound) in an abandoned transmission shop near the ports of Detroit, MI. Mixed by Eric Arsnow at FunLand Studios in Milwaukee, WI. and mastered by Justin Perkins at Mystery Room Mastering in Madison, WI
