Join Music Director Sid and Milwaukee Records Matt Wild for another Local/Live from Anodyne on Bruce with Emmitt James!
To make it short and sweet: when you think of Hip Hop-Jazz or any sort of Jazz Rap fusion, you think of Emmitt James. When you think of an independent artist defying traditional means of what it means to be an artist, you think of Emmitt James. Emmitt James is a Hip Hop-Jazz artist and baerista based in Milwaukee, WI. James spent some time in LA where he opened for legendary acts such as Pharcyde and Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) to contemporary acts such as Duckwrth, Joey Purp, Cuco and more.
James will bring his magic to Anodyne just ahead of his birthday show on February 7 at 5 Points Gallery. His show is a for fans of the jazz / rap space.
