This beautiful beast uses a unique tilting system that allows you to lift the lid and grill delicious steaks right over the fire. Lower the top, and use the grill as a regular outdoor oven for pizzas, breads and baking. Featuring steel, double-walled construction, the outer wall is 3mm thick and the 26 W X 16 D X 9 H inside chamber is lined with 1/8 inch stainless steel. The air travels between the walls, warming the two, thick stones on the chamber floor providing a 360 degree cooking environment of both radiant and direct heat for healthier, more fuel efficient cooking. The Alsace is capable of reaching cooking temperatures of 500 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit within an hour and is also capable of cooking up to 2 hours after the fire goes out.
