What is a WMSE Record Holder?
Record Holders are big supporters of WMSE. How big? Their names are literally holding up WMSE’s records. Starting in the fall of 2022 WMSE began a new tradition. These proud supporters’ generosity is acknowledged with a nameplate on WMSE’s vinyl shelves. So, now WMSE’s vinyl library is supported by WMSE Record Holders. WMSE Record Holders are also automatically Guitar Smasher Members and get a few additional perks. Often, they support WMSE with Matching Challenge Grants during Membership Drives, and special events, or have made a bequest gift. They empower WMSE to champion local music and a diverse mix of artists by donating more than $91.70/mo. (or $1100+ annually).
WMSE Record Holder Benefits

Take 5 with Tom
WMSE Record Holders have the option to “Take 5 with Tom.” Pick 5 songs. Could be your five favorite songs, songs that relate to WMSE, or 5 new tracks that remind you of summer. Book your personal 30-minute studio session with WMSE Station Manager, Tom Crawford. During the breaks, Tom will ask you “Why do you like WMSE?” and “Why did you pick this song and what does it mean to you?” An edited version will air on Radio Drill Time as the program schedule allows.
